In Short

  • Design and implement scalable data architectures specifically optimized for AI/ML systems and AI-driven applications (including vector and graph databases)
  • Design and develop schemas, data models, and APIs to power RAG workflows and agentic systems
  • Lead the integration of structured and unstructured data sources, ensuring fast, reliable retrieval and context for AI models
  • Collaborate with ML engineers to optimize data pipelines for model training, validation, inference, and feedback loops
  • Architect data versioning systems that maintain alignment between models and their training data
  • Evaluate emerging data technologies and drive adoption across AI initiatives

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in data architecture, with at least 2 years focused on large-scale AI/ML data systems
  • Expert knowledge of modern databases (e.g., vector stores, graph databases) and distributed systems
  • Proven track record designing robust data models for both traditional and AI-specific applications
  • Hands-on experience with data quality monitoring for machine learning applications
  • Proficiency with data orchestration tools and ETL/ELT processes for AI pipelines
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP) and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with RAG systems and agentic applications
  • Bonus: Experience with MLOps and feature stores
  • Bonus: Knowledge of multimodal data architectures for vision + text systems
  • Bonus: Familiarity with construction data
