Engineer II, Data Services - Remote

Overview

As an Engineer II at TrueML, you will be a pivotal member of our data services team, responsible for developing the data streaming platform, the common event bus as well as a number of other critical services to meet the data needs for our domain teams.

In Short

• Write clean, concise, high-quality, and well-tested code.
• Take independent ownership of delivering tasks from design to completion.
• Manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to clarify requirements.
• Participate in on-call schedule and troubleshoot production issues.
• Document and refactor legacy code for improvement.
• Contribute to team documentation.
• Actively share knowledge within the team.
• Engage in continuous improvement practices.
• Work in a mission-driven environment focused on customer experiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in backend engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Proficiency in Go (Golang).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, preferably Terraform.
• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of system architecture and software engineering practices.
• Ability to learn new technical areas quickly.
• Experience in testing and debugging code.
• Experience with Scala is a plus.
