Controller - Marketing - Remote

Overview

The Controller will lead aspects of the accounting function within CORE Stagwell, providing Shared Services to Brands in the Stagwell network, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.

In Short

• Responsible for the Monthly Financial Statements
• Lead the month-end close process and variance analysis
• Review payroll and prepare monthly reconciliations
• Manage month-end reporting process
• Assist in treasury functions and cash forecasting
• Utilize ERP for tracking key initiatives
• Oversee accounting department operations
• Ensure timely posting of accounts receivables and payables
• Manage Internal/External Audits and SOX compliance
• Assist with annual budget and quarterly reforecasts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
• CPA required
• 7+ years of related experience
• 5+ years of Maconomy experience
• Excellent Excel skills
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate clearly
• Experience managing a team
• Ability to prioritize and manage risks
