Ecologist - Sea Level Rise and Wetland Management - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a mid-career to senior ecologist with a strong background in sea level rise mitigation and restoration and/or wetland mitigation and management, particularly in the southeastern United States.

In Short

• Join an interdisciplinary team of scientists and landscape architects.
• Work on restoration and natural resource management projects throughout the US.
• Assist with assembling teams and managing projects.
• Provide expert witness support or serve as an expert witness.
• Expand the portfolio of projects company-wide.
• Mostly desk work with occasional fieldwork opportunities.
• Provide senior review of deliverables.
• Mentor junior staff.
• Participate in business development.
• Support the executive management team.

Requirements

• Strong background in sea level rise mitigation and restoration.
• Experience in wetland mitigation and management.
• Ability to manage projects effectively.
• Experience in providing expert witness support.
• Willingness to travel regionally and nationally (up to 20%).
