Head of Medical Science - Remote

Overview

Tris Pharma, Inc. is a leading privately-owned U.S. biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing innovative medicines in ADHD, spectrum disorders, anxiety, pain, and addiction. The Head of Medical Science will lead a small MSL team in the Pain therapeutic space, collaborating closely with the VP/Medical Affairs.

In Short

• Lead a small MSL team in the Pain therapeutic area.
• Collaborate with VP/Medical Affairs on strategic plans.
• Develop relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Guide and mentor MSLs through training and feedback.
• Oversee MSL interactions and dissemination of clinical data.
• Coordinate MSL support for clinical activities and research.
• Contribute to asset development for educational materials.
• Develop a strategic training program for Medical Affairs team.
• Travel requirement of more than 50%.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in medical/biosciences (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD).
• Minimum 8 years MSL experience in pharmaceuticals or biotechnology.
• Experience in the pain therapeutic space.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards related to Medical Affairs.
• Expertise in pharmaceutical compliance laws and guidelines.
• Experience leading Medical Affairs training initiatives.
• Proven track record with KOLs in relevant therapeutic areas.
• People management experience.
• Ability to influence without direct authority.
• Valid US driver’s license and clean driving record.
