In Short

• Communicate with students in text, answering questions and providing explanations.
• Check students’ assignments and provide feedback.
• Conduct scheduled office hours in Slack/Zoom.
• Participate in daily team communication and biweekly meetings.
• 1+ year of work experience in Software Engineering required.
• Skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Node + Express are necessary.
• Must communicate 5 days a week between 2pm and 11pm EST.
• Proficient written English is necessary.
• Empathetic communication and feedback skills are essential.
• Background as a Mentor/Coach is a plus.

Requirements

• 1+ year of work experience in Software Engineer.
• You are skilled in in HTML, CSS, vanilla Javascript, React, Node + Express.
• Ability to communicate 5 days a week (Thur, Fri, Sat, Su, Mon) between 2pm and 11pm EST.
• You possess a proficient level of written English.
• You are careful with communication, can structure your thoughts, and provide constructive feedback in an empathetic way.
