Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join TheFork Accounting team as Associate Accountant. You will be responsible for accounting tasks related to Gift Cards and general operational accounting to support the core business.

• Handle billing, cash collection, and credit recovery activities.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of payment platform accounts.
• Assist the team in providing documentation for fiscal due dates.
• Support the accounts payable cycle and audit requests.
• Collaborate with the Gift Card Sales team on accounting requests.

Requirements

• Native level of Italian language.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Good accounting skills.
• 1-2 years of experience in audit firm or accounting roles.
• Problem-solving mindset.
• Knowledge of accounting systems like Workday and/or MD365.
• Experience with bank/payment platforms.
• Familiarity with gift card back-office platform.
