Platform Engineer - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and pragmatic Platform Engineer to join this growing team and help continue to evolve the platform.

In Short

• Design and build slick, robust and reliable technical infrastructure and tooling.
• Champion DevOps culture and practices throughout engineering teams.
• Accelerate the journey towards Continuous Delivery.
• Maintain and design systems and infrastructure respecting security best practices.
• Work with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration Management tooling.
• Automate processes and improve efficiency.
• Support complex CI/CD pipelines.
• Utilize AWS services effectively.
• Document work with YAML and Markdown.
• Collaborate with a passionate team across Europe.

Requirements

• Experience with IaC and configuration management tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible.
• Strong understanding of AWS services such as EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM, Route53, CloudFront, S3, RDS.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Programming/scripting experience in Java, Bash, Python, Go.
• Knowledge of observability technologies like Prometheus, ELK, CloudWatch.
• Good working knowledge of Linux.
• Ability to document work effectively.
• Passion for DevOps culture and practices.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Relentless drive to automate processes.
