Overview

The Medical Absences Management Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and administrative management of occupational health and safety files, as well as disability files. This role serves as a liaison between various bodies and suppliers to ensure effective management of employee absences.

In Short

  • Manage short-term and long-term disability files.
  • Coordinate return to work processes for employees.
  • Ensure proper follow-up on work-related injury files.
  • Act as a resource for employees absent for medical reasons.
  • Maintain up-to-date KPI data to track insurer performance.
  • Collaborate with external experts and medical consultants.
  • Administrative management of Covid-19 cases.
  • Communicate necessary information to employees and managers.
  • Develop and implement best practices in medical absence management.
  • Input and update files in the SAP system.

Requirements

  • College diploma in business administration or equivalent.
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluency in French and English.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a team.
  • Client-driven with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient with various software applications.
