Senior Data Analytics Engineer (BI) - Remote

Trafilea is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer (BI) to enhance our marketing and business intelligence layer, ensuring reliable and actionable reporting that drives decision-making.

In Short

• Take ownership of marketing reporting and business intelligence.
• Ensure data quality and reliability of dashboards and reports.
• Build scalable data models and optimize SQL transformations.

• Partner with marketing and commercial teams to drive insights.
• 4–6+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering or Data Engineering.
• Advanced SQL skills and strong experience with BI tools.
• Ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with AWS stack and modern ELT frameworks is a plus.
• Familiarity with marketing analytics concepts.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years in Analytics Engineering, BI, or Data Engineering.
• Advanced SQL skills (joins, CTEs, window functions, optimization).
• Strong experience with BI tools (Tableau or similar).
• Experience building and maintaining data models and pipelines.
• Proven ownership of production reporting and data quality.
• Ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with AWS stack (S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena, etc.) is nice to have.
• Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, or modern ELT frameworks is nice to have.
• Experience in marketing analytics (CAC, ROAS, LTV, funnels, retention) is a bonus.
