Senior Consultant I - Economic Development - Remote

Overview

TPMA is growing our Consulting team to better serve the needs of our clients and the ecosystems we support. Successful Senior Consultants will exercise considerable independent judgment and be team-oriented, driven professionals who can lead the design, analysis, and completion of projects and proposals for TPMA clients. Simultaneously, the Senior Consultant will provide support and leadership to their project teams in the planning, assessing, and delivering of projects. TPMA is committed to delivering results-oriented consulting practices for stakeholders and clients that are seeking to help their communities reach their full economic potential.

In Short

• Serves as an economic development Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Development of scopes of work and proposals.
• Quantitative and qualitative data gathering and analysis.
• Drafts and/or approves written reports and presentations.
• Coordinates with Project Manager and client for project deliveries.
• Leads on-site project work and primary data collection.
• Conducts advanced research and analysis.
• Secures profitability of assignments.
• Ongoing development of customer relationships.
• Develops a customized business development plan.

Requirements

• 7+ years' experience in consulting.
• 3+ years' experience with project management.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Attention to detail and ability to balance priorities.
• Previous consulting experience preferred.
• CEcD or EDFP certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required.
• Background in real estate preferred.
• Advanced degree preferred.
