Junior Video Editor - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to join our growing creative team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for storytelling through video, a strong visual sense, and the technical skills to bring ideas to life in post-production. You’ll support the editing and production of a wide range of video content, including marketing campaigns, social media content, tutorials, and branded content.

In Short

• Assist in editing short-form and long-form video content for multiple platforms (YouTube, social media, websites, etc.)
• Organize and manage video footage, ensuring assets are stored and labeled correctly
• Work closely with designers, editors, and creative leads to understand project goals and execute on vision
• Add motion graphics, captions, transitions, and sound where needed to enhance storytelling
• Ensure all edits adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent style and tone
• Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute to video concept development
• Stay current with editing trends, software updates, and video best practices

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in video editing
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects (knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus)
• Basic understanding of color correction, audio mixing, and motion graphics
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to take feedback and learn
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• A portfolio or reel showcasing video editing work
• Familiarity with video content strategies for digital platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)
• Knowledge of visual storytelling and pacing
• Interest in marketing, brand storytelling, or social content creation
