Finance Manager - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated Finance Manager to join our extraordinary team at Top Hat, an award-winning organization renowned for its exceptional work culture and commitment to excellence.

In Short

• Manage the month-end close process and prepare timely and accurate consolidated financial statements.
• Responsible for managing the financial year-end close procedures and external audit.
• Provide proactive analyses to identify issues and provide meaningful analyses to stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with external accounting firms and tax advisors.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for investors.
• Research technical accounting issues and establish company-wide accounting policies.
• Contribute to unique projects such as managing intercompany agreements and annual forecasting.
• Review and implement new processes and systems with a focus on optimization.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or CA designation required.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and internal controls.
• 4-6 years of progressive experience in public accounting and corporate finance.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, team building, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and make actionable recommendations.
• Must be proactive and able to work independently.
• Flexibility to work under time constraints and deadlines.
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus!
