Head of Crypto Investment Research (Remote)

Overview

Token Metrics is seeking a Head of Investment Research responsible for investment transaction-related efforts, and sourcing/leading blockchain investments, including developing financial models, performing primary and secondary market research, meeting with entrepreneurs, and attending relevant conferences and networking events.

In Short

• Develop financial models relating to VC financing transactions.
• Perform due diligence and industry research.
• Craft investment memoranda and presentation materials.
• Work with portfolio companies to enhance operations.
• Create processes for long-term scalability of investment processes.
• Leverage existing network to source investment opportunities.
• Present investment opportunities to the Executive Investment Committee.

Requirements

• Extensive investing experience in blockchain and cryptocurrency.
• MBA or Degree in Finance.
• Experience at a top tier venture capital or investment firm.
• Experience leading strategic alliances and M&A processes.
• Expert knowledge of startup financial modeling.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor high-performing teams.
