In Short

• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions efficiently.
• Create and post journal entries for various accounts, ensuring proper financial documentation.
• Reconcile and record payroll entries accurately.
• Prepare and maintain various balance sheet schedules for month-end closing.
• Analyze and understand U.S. accounting concepts, including balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.
• Manage multiple client accounts daily, balancing competing deadlines effectively.
• Communicate with teammates, Senior Accountants, and Managers across different time zones in the U.S. and India to ensure seamless collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, including GL, AP, AR, PR, and period-end closes.
• Experience with multiple accounting software applications such as QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, and MS Business Central (MS Dynamics 365) is preferred.
• Ability to quickly learn new software systems and adapt to different client processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English to collaborate effectively with teams and clients.
