Backend Software Developer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and qualified Backend Software Developer to join our Remote-First team. You will work on our central authentication and authorization component and be responsible for the further development of our Identity and Access Management System (IAM).

In Short

• Ensure high availability of all TIMOCOM apps.
• Develop and implement new approaches, concepts, and architectures for our IAM.
• Live agile methodologies within the development team.
• Evaluate new technologies for potential use.

Requirements

• At least four years of experience in Java and Spring (Boot) development.
• Proficient in Clean Code and test-driven development.
• Comfortable in an agile and modern work environment (Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, CI/CD).
• Experience with databases (Postgres, Oracle) and JPA (EclipseLink, Hibernate).
• Familiarity with build processes and deployments (Gradle, Gitlab CI, ArgoCD).
• Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Some experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
• Fluent in German and good English skills.
