Dotdash Meredith is looking for a highly skilled and forward-thinking Engineering Lead with demonstrated technical excellence for an exciting opportunity to design and scale mission-critical pieces of the next generation of our publishing.

In Short

Lead the technical vision for front-end applications.
Collaborate in an Agile environment to build high-performance UX solutions.
Work closely with backend engineers for optimal integration.
Monitor app performance and optimize based on user feedback.
Define and drive the technical strategy for app development.
Proven experience in designing and maintaining frontend applications.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js.
Experience with modern front-end frameworks like Vue.js.
Familiarity with mobile app development using React Native.
Collaborate with QA teams to address bugs and performance issues.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in frontend application development.
Expertise in backend technologies and web application development.
Experience with state management solutions.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Ability to drive technical strategy under tight deadlines.
Experience with project management tools like Jira.
Familiarity with content creation tools.
Strong mentorship and leadership skills.
Ability to work with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
