Overview

As a Data Engineer at Tide, you will be responsible for building and running the data pipelines and services that support business functions, reports, and dashboards.

In Short

• Develop end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Design and implement scalable data processing solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Provide troubleshooting and diagnosis for data architecture challenges.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Ensure data quality and governance.

• Build Looker dashboards as needed.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with Snowflake or similar data warehouse technology.
• Experience with dbt and modern data stack technologies.
• Proficient in advanced SQL and performance tuning.
• Experience in data ingestion techniques.
• Strong data modeling skills.
• Experience with ETL processes and large datasets.
• Familiarity with Data Mesh architecture is a plus.
• Agile process experience, preferably SCRUM.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Good communication skills in English.
