Senior Accountant - Remote

Thrive Market is seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and support the financial close process while contributing to a mission of making healthy living accessible.

In Short

• Manage monthly financial closing activities and account reconciliations.
• Support annual audit processes and implement internal controls.
• Lead accounting tasks related to cash, debt, and accruals.
• Work closely with senior accountants and report to the Associate Director of Accounting.
• Contribute to special projects and process improvements.
• Utilize strong analytical skills to handle large data sets.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Prior experience in e-commerce or consumer packaged goods is a plus.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with Big 4 experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statements.
• CPA or progress towards obtaining the license preferred.
• Highly proficient in Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLookUps.
• Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with experience in e-commerce preferred.
