Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a qualified individual as a Senior Accountant to strengthen our growing Finance team and take responsibility for central accounting processes across multiple jurisdictions. In this role, you will ensure accurate financial records, smooth daily operations, and compliance with international accounting standards.

In Short

• Responsible for general ledger accounts and financial reports for German, BVI, and Cayman companies.
• Manage daily financial processes including outgoing payments and internal controls using DATEV and integrated systems.
• Conduct monthly and annual closings, including reconciliations and collaboration with external service providers.
• Ensure compliance with HGB and IFRS standards, assisting with regulatory and tax reporting across different countries.
• Coordinate audits and prepare financial reports, forecasts, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
• Optimize and automate accounting processes using tools like Moss.

Requirements

• Residence in the EMEA region is mandatory.
• At least 4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an international environment.
• Solid knowledge of HGB and IFRS standards and practical experience with DATEV.
• Familiarity with accounting and compliance requirements for BVI and Cayman companies is a plus.
• Deep understanding of intercompany accounting and transfer pricing mechanisms.
• Fluent in English; German skills are a strong plus.
