Overview

The Licensing and Training Specialist will recruit, train, and license foster parents, ensuring compliance and providing support to maintain placements.

In Short

  • Recruit and train foster parents.
  • Provide pre-service training and assess potential foster parents.
  • Guide parents through the licensing process.
  • Ensure compliance with training requirements.
  • Maintain documentation and audit-ready files.
  • Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Assist in locating placements for children.
  • Public speaking and marketing to recruit families.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in social work or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License and meet credentialing standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Pass a drug screening test and background check.
