Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

TheKey is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team, responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and collaborating with various departments to enhance accounting operations.

In Short

• Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Own and maintain accuracy of general ledger accounts.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, AP, and FP&A teams.
• Support external audits and maintain internal controls.
• Identify and drive process improvements in accounting operations.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and implement new tools.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant field required.
• Experience with NetSuite preferred.
• Strong Excel skills necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant field.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with major accounting software, preferably NetSuite.
• Strong understanding of US accounting guidance and SOX-compliant internal controls.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• CPA or Big 4 experience preferred.
• Prior healthcare or service industry experience preferred.
