Financial Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Financial Analyst will support Wonderful Pistachios and Almonds (WP&A) financial planning and analysis processes by delivering insights that drive business performance and support strategic decision-making.

In Short

• Coordinate and prepare the monthly P&L reporting deck for senior leadership.
• Analyze actual financial results against forecast, budget, and prior year.
• Communicate financial performance to stakeholders in a clear and actionable format.
• Support the development of the 5 Year Rolling Forecast and Annual Budget processes.
• Partner with Sales, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams for financial analysis.
• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance financial reporting processes.
• Utilize systems like Excel and Power BI to automate workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process redesign.
• Build and maintain financial models for strategic planning.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial systems and data.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in FP&A or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with Power BI and large ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Collaborative team player with strong analytical skills.
• Self-starter able to work independently.
• Ability to interact with department leadership confidently.
• Comfortable with shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
