We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our corporate finance team and help drive the next phase of Blockskye’s growth. This role will support financial reporting, planning, forecasting and KPI analytics, enabling us to expand and automate core processes. You will partner with both finance leaders and cross-functional teams, ensuring that Blockskye can effectively define and execute financial and business goals.

In Short

• Aid in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans
• Update and help maintain driver-based financial models to support business decisions and strategic initiatives
• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly executive reporting decks; explain variances vs budget/forecast
• Monitor and report on key financial and operational metrics
• Support the monthly close: validate data flows, ensure ERP data accuracy, and reconcile key schedules used in management reporting
• Perform ad-hoc financial analyses to support strategic projects as required
• Document and standardize reporting processes; continually identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve processes and controls
• Partner cross-functionally on forecasting inputs and identify improvement opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other related field
• 0-2 years of experience in finance, accounting or relevant internships
• Knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Understanding of financial statements, core GAAP concepts and valuation principles
• Problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills
• Ability to work with large datasets (cleaning, structuring, analyzing) and produce clear, accurate outputs
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to distill complex topics for non-finance stakeholders
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Attention to detail and coachability
