Overview

The Sonar Engineer will be part of the Sonar Research and Development Division at Penn State, focusing on advanced SONAR systems for Navy applications, particularly in anti-submarine warfare signal processing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science.
  • 19+ years of relevant experience.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and collaboration skills.
  • Strong understanding of Undersea Technology and ASW.
  • Experience in at-sea testing and Autonomous Systems.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance.
  • Demonstrated leadership and planning abilities.
  • Ability to recognize and adapt to emerging trends in ASW technology.
