College Marketing Representative - Remote

Overview

As a paid part-time employee of The Orchard, you’ll be an advocate for artists that The Orchard distributes. You’ll promote 3-6 artists per month, as well as one-off promotions as they arise, in your college town and on campus by implementing digital and in-person marketing strategies.

In Short

• Organically create awareness of The Orchard’s artists by liaising with and building relationships with influencers.
• Maintain a local social media presence that promotes the artists.
• Implement in-person marketing initiatives at record stores and on campus.
• Research appropriate online sites for the key 18-24yr old demographic.
• Attend local and campus events to promote artists.
• Attend artists' shows to hand out promotional tools.
• Submit detailed reports on marketing successes and initiatives.

Requirements

• Undergraduate Student currently enrolled in a 4 year university.
• Ability to manage your own hours and be accountable.
• Passion for music and understanding of music business & marketing.
• Understanding of social media marketing and current trends.
• Availability of 20 hours per week.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Transportation methods available.
• Flexible schedule for team calls and tour coverage.
