Regulatory Assistant - Remote

Overview

The Regulatory Assistant will support research protocols to ensure compliance with university, state, and federal regulations in clinical trials.

In Short

• Assist with regulatory functions in clinical research.
• Prepare protocol submissions to Institutional Review Boards (IRBs).
• Maintain and distribute approved regulatory documents.
• Relay information to clinical research staff.
• Perform data entry and maintain records in the OnCore electronic database.
• Assist with monitoring visits and regulatory issues.
• Create and maintain regulatory files.
• Work collaboratively with research teams.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the mission of the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biological, health, or life sciences or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a clinical research capacity is desired.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of database software applications.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to compliance and ethical standards.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new regulations.
• Understanding of clinical trial processes is a plus.
