Overview

The Patent Agent will work alongside Nielsen’s engineers and data scientists to develop a world-class patent portfolio that aligns with Nielsen’s business goals, focusing on technologies related to audience measurement and media recognition.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a patent agent.
• Degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., engineering, computer science).
• Registered to practice before the USPTO.
• Experience with in-house patent preparation is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of media content distribution technologies.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and drafting skills.
• Familiarity with patent prosecution processes.
• Understanding of data science methodologies is beneficial.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
