The Roving Emergency Coordinator provides on-demand technical and operational support to LWF Country Programs across the global portfolio, focusing on strengthening humanitarian preparedness and response capacity through training, surge deployment during emergencies, and ensuring consistent application of humanitarian standards.

Requirements

• University degree in emergency response, political science, or social science.
• At least 10 years of experience in humanitarian emergency response.
• Strong understanding of humanitarian principles and standards.
• Ability to deliver training and support capacity strengthening.
• Experience in rapid assessments and emergency project implementation.
• Technical experience in EiE or WASH is an advantage.
• Advanced English and knowledge of another language (French, Spanish, Arabic).
• Strong adaptability and stress resilience.
• Leadership and project management skills.
• Effective communication and networking abilities.
