Overview

The AI Center of Excellence (CoE) team is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist specializing in Large Language Models (LLMs) to join our team. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in machine learning, natural language processing, and artificial intelligence to develop and implement advanced models that drive strategic decision-making and innovation.

In Short

• Collaborate with the Product Owner to manage the entire model development process.
• Participate in daily Kanban standups and create user stories.
• Utilize automation techniques to streamline manual processes.
• Stay current with emerging machine learning and cloud trends.
• Manage data science projects from conception to deployment.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful insights.
• Develop models for both on-premises and AWS cloud projects.
• Identify business requirements and data sourcing.
• Present results and production scoring.
• Build a suite of self-service assets.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or Economics.
• 2+ years' experience with statistical modeling techniques.
• 2+ years related work experience in AWS cloud machine learning.
• 3+ years experience with Python or R, Spark.
• 1+ years experience with Large Language Models.
• Willingness to solve problems not strictly related to modeling.
• Working knowledge of finetuning LLMs.
• Knowledge of Agentic AI.
• Preferred advanced AWS services experience.
• PhD in relevant field preferred.
