Data Warehouse Production Support Manager - Remote

Overview

This role involves leading the Production Support team within the Enterprise Data Warehouse, ensuring quality and timely data management while mentoring team members.

In Short

• Manage onshore and offshore production support team.
• Support incident resolution and continuous improvement.
• Ensure proper logging, prioritization, and resolution of production support issues.
• Facilitate production support handovers with build teams.
• Provide monthly operations reports tracking key performance metrics.
• Represent operations in design reviews.
• Monitor production landscape for impactful changes.
• Owner of vendor relationship with support’s SOW provider.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams for code migrations.
• Lead teams through project lifecycle with a focus on data governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience in a related field.
• 5 years of experience leading teams through project lifecycle.
• 3 years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Understanding of enterprise data warehousing best practices.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Experience with traditional data architecture.
• Experience with data governance and management approaches.
• Familiarity with business intelligence and advanced analytics tools.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, DataStage, AWS, and Snowflake.
