Overview

The Senior SLS Program Manager IPT Leader at Boeing will oversee the overall execution of development, qualification, and production activities for the SLS Core Stage elements, crucial for NASA's missions to the Moon and Mars.

• Manage a multi-disciplinary Integrated Product Team (IPT).
• Develop and maintain program baselines including technical, cost, and schedule.
• Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) to manage program performance.
• Characterize and manage risks and issues with mitigation plans.
• Establish IPT organizational structure for optimal performance.
• Implement program processes and seek process improvements.
• Define metrics to manage IPT performance and program risk.
• Support proposal development and major subcontractor activities.

• Work onsite at one of the specified locations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• More than 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Engineering Management preferred.
• Current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
• Experience with Program Management Best Practices (PMBP).
• Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS).
• Experience with Lean+/10X methodologies.
