Flight Readiness Technician Team Lead - Remote

Overview

The Flight Readiness Technician Team Lead will support the Boeing 787 Program at the South Carolina delivery center, overseeing aircraft activities and ensuring operational readiness.

In Short

• Lead activities on the BSC Flightline for the 787 Program.
• Plan, schedule, and arrange aircraft activities.
• Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems.
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight checks.
• Document repair, test, and inspection results.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to team members.
• Monitor and report daily progress across multiple functions.
• Identify and communicate risks to leadership.
• Implement process improvement and Lean initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of 787 Operations experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with Velocity, CMES, and IVT systems.
• Must maintain necessary certifications for Team Lead function.
• Team Lead experience preferred.
• A&P License is a plus.
