Overview

The Boeing Company is seeking energetic and innovative Acoustics Engineers to support its Flight Sciences team, working on projects that impact communities around airports and passengers of commercial airplanes globally.

In Short

  • Conduct acoustic and vibroacoustic analyses of flight/launch vehicles.
  • Design and validate noise/vibration control technologies.
  • Conduct acoustic/vibroacoustic tests.
  • Coordinate noise/vibration control requirements and validation testing.
  • Develop and improve acoustics prediction and control technologies.
  • Support customer requests for vibration/acoustic data.
  • Work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Engage in all phases of the airplane lifecycle.
  • Participate in compliance with noise regulations.
  • Contribute to the design and integration of aircraft systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in a STEM field.
  • Experience in acoustics, vibration, or structural dynamics preferred.
  • 3+ years of related work experience or equivalent education.
  • Knowledge of programming languages like C, Matlab, or Python.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with noise control technologies.
  • Understanding of compliance and testing protocols.
  • Effective communication skills.
