Business Intelligence Analyst (Power BI and DAX) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst with expertise in Power BI to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing data models, developing comprehensive reports, and performing predictive analytics to support business decision-making.

In Short

• Design, build, and maintain data models to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
• Develop and implement dashboards, reports, and visualisations to monitor business performance.
• Conduct predictive analytics to forecast trends, identify risks, and uncover opportunities for growth.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy by implementing best practices for data governance and management.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Development and other departments to integrate various data sources into Power BI.
• Create automated reporting processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions, ensuring they are performing optimally.
• Stay up to date on the latest BI tools, technologies, and trends to improve current processes and propose innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related role.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, including M and Dax language.
• Experience in predictive modelling and statistical analysis using tools like Python, R, or similar.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Preferably with understanding of machine learning algorithms and their application in business use cases.
• Preferably with experience with version control tools.
