Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Remote Bookkeeper to support U.S.-based accounting firms, managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with U.S. accounting and tax regulations.

In Short

  • Manage day-to-day financial transactions for multiple clients.
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate general ledgers.
  • Generate client financial statements and assist with tax filings.
  • Track and manage sales tax filings for clients.
  • Process payroll data and ensure compliance with U.S. payroll regulations.
  • Collaborate with accounting firm staff for necessary financial information.
  • Suggest process improvements for bookkeeping tasks.
  • Stay updated on best practices in bookkeeping and financial management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably with accounting firms.
  • Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks Online or Xero.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and dedicated home office setup.
