The Mortgage Loan Closer is responsible for managing the workflow of the closing process, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant before funding the loan.

In Short

• Maintain a pipeline of loans from initial closing disclosure through funding.
• Ensure compliance with company and investor guidelines.
• Prepare and send initial closing disclosures.
• Work with title companies to balance closing documents.
• Issue final closing documents to borrowers.
• Review files and authorize fund releases.
• Assist team members during peak volumes.
• Complete post-closing disclosures.
• Handle additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of mortgage experience in a closing role.
• Knowledge of Conventional and Government loans.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Ability to work independently.
• Reliable team player.
