• Own the inference backbone behind QVAC's local AI stack.
• Ensure models run fast, reliably, and predictably on real user hardware.
• Lead a cross-functional team that spans from C++ engines to JavaScript applications.
• Work on deploying machine learning models to edge devices.
• Collaborate closely with researchers to transition models from research to production.
• Integrate AI features into existing products.
• Manage a cross-functional team to produce high-quality deliverables.
• Assess market position regarding similar products.
• Ensure stable releases by following internal release processes.
• Drive the delivery of cohesive, production-ready local AI systems.

Requirements

• Excellent programming skills in C++.
• Strong experience with Llama.cpp and ggml.
• Good understanding of deep learning concepts.
• Experience with transformers, LLMs, and Diffusion Models.
• Ability to assimilate new technologies quickly.
• Experience managing a small, specialized team.
• Passion for building products that improve lives.
• A degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field.
