Investment Associate - RISE Fund - Remote

Overview

As an Investment Associate in the Expansion Investments team at Tether, you will contribute to our private equity and venture capital investments, focusing on key strategic investments and expansion enablers. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in deal execution and investment management within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

In Short

• Support the full lifecycle of investment transactions from term sheet through close.
• Synthesize diligence findings into investment-grade analysis.
• Author Investment Committee memoranda.
• Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned portfolio companies post-close.
• Support the build-out and continuous improvement of Tether RISE fund’s Investment operating infrastructure.
• Exhibit strong analytical abilities and interpret financial data.
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to senior management.
• Maintain rigorous documentation standards across all Venture IC materials.
• Support Reporting Team with monitoring of financial and operational KPIs.
• Work alongside Reporting and Finance Team to produce periodic portfolio reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• CFA charterholder or CAIA designation required.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in venture capital, private equity, or investment banking.
• Advanced financial modelling and strong command of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Strong understanding of venture and growth-stage investment dynamics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of financial services sector including regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with portfolio management system tools is a plus.
• Ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
