Farmer Engagement Manager - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Farmer Engagement Manager to serve as the primary point of contact for farmers participating in our ERW programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with farmers and stakeholders. This role is pivotal to ensuring successful implementation of ERW practices and fostering long-term partnerships with the farming community.

In Short

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with farmers and agricultural partners.
• Work with farmers to plan and execute rock applications on their fields.
• Develop and deliver training sessions and educational materials to farmers.
• Collaborate with the SciOps team to collect field data.
• Act as a liaison between the company and local agricultural communities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in farmer engagement or agricultural extension.
• Strong understanding of soil science and sustainable farming practices.
• Familiarity with farm management systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience in managing field projects.
• Proficiency in data collection and reporting.
• Willingness to travel frequently to farming sites.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
