Science Operations Manager - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Science Operations Manager to lead and oversee all ground operations for our MRV activities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in soil science, agronomy, or environmental science, coupled with proven leadership skills and operational expertise. This role is critical in ensuring the accurate execution of field protocols, the integrity of collected data, and the successful implementation of ERW methodologies. The Science Operations Manager will collaborate closely with farmers, SciOps team, and stakeholders, driving the efficiency and quality of our MRV processes while fostering strong partnerships within the agricultural and mine sectors.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Soil Science, Agronomy, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing field operations.
• Strong leadership and team management experience.
• Expertise in MRV operations and protocol development.
• Proficiency in data management tools; GIS experience is a plus.
• Willingness to travel frequently to farming sites.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Brazil.
