GHG Quantification Specialist, Nature Based Solutions (NBS) - Remote

Overview

This position for GHG quantification provides technical support for carbon accounting and calculations, both at project and program scales, as well as contributing to business development.

• Proficiency in Python and statistical software.

Requirements

• Background in quantifying GHG emissions in carbon projects.
• Proficiency in statistical software and data analysis tools.
• Coursework in biometrics, biostatistics, modeling, and GIS analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in applied natural sciences or related field.
• Master's degree preferred in biostatistics or related field.
• Understanding of mathematical and statistical modeling related to forest growth.
• Knowledge of mangrove ecosystems and biogeochemical modeling.
• Experience in forest monitoring and carbon accounting.
• Excellent written communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of a foreign language is a plus.
