In Short

• Design and develop robust and reliable firmware for AI products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the planning, architecting, development, and production stages.
• Design reliable sequences for power management, boot loading, and other firmware processes.
• Integrate and maintain internal and external open-source releases.
• Improve and maintain CI/CD flow, providing debug support as needed.
• Review and provide feedback on firmware, software, and hardware design specifications.
• Support the firmware lab debug process and analyze issues.
• Collaborate closely with hardware/software design and testing teams.
• Document firmware architecture for cross-team communication.
• Regularly update stakeholders on firmware development progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering or computer science with 5+ years of experience in semiconductor SoC/IP firmware.
• Proficiency in embedded computing systems and various hardware interfaces (JTAG, I2C, SPI, etc.).
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and shell scripting.
• Experience programming firmware on RISC-V and modern microprocessors.
• Experience debugging firmware in pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.
• Knowledge in hardware architecture and chip/board power up sequence.
• Experience on Linux build environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
