Senior Security Governance and Risk Consultant - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Security Governance and Risk Consultant at Tenchi, you will lead our clients through the intricacies of establishing effective security governance practices and managing enterprise risk.

In Short

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of security governance and risk management projects for clients across various industries;
• Conduct security maturity assessments based on established frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, CIS Controls, ISO/IEC 27001);
• Design, implement, and maintain Information Security Management Systems (ISMS);
• Develop and manage Information Security Master Plans (PDSI);
• Execute Third Party Cyber Risk Management (TPCRM) processes;
• Lead or support cybersecurity audits and regulatory compliance reviews;
• Provide guidance and recommendations on risk mitigation strategies;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security governance;
• Conduct occasional on-site visits to clients;
• Deliver executive-level reporting and presentations;
• Mentor junior consultants and support internal capability development;
• Stay up to date with emerging threats and regulatory changes.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in the cybersecurity field;
• Strong understanding of security governance and risk management;
• Experience with compliance standards such as ISO 27001;
• Ability to lead and manage projects;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
