Senior VFX Artist - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Senior VFX Artist to join our team in crafting high-fidelity, realistic visual effects for a next-generation AAA title.

In Short

• Design, prototype, and implement high-quality, realistic visual effects.
• Build and optimize real-time effects in Unreal Engine 5 using Niagara.
• Create advanced simulations and procedural FX assets in Houdini.
• Collaborate with art directors, cinematic directors, and game designers.
• Balance aesthetic fidelity with performance across platforms.
• Troubleshoot and profile VFX performance issues.
• Document workflows and contribute to building scalable FX systems.
• Mentor junior VFX artists and support team growth.
• 5+ years of professional experience in VFX production for games.
• Strong proficiency with Unreal Engine 5 and Houdini.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of real-world phenomena.
• Ability to take ownership of complex visual systems.
• Self-motivated and collaborative with strong communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience in Cinematic VFX.
• Knowledge of real-time lighting and shaders.
• Experience in scripting (Python, HLSL, or Niagara modules).
