In Short

• Join TEGNA’s Development Team to create cutting-edge websites, mobile apps, and custom editorial tools.
• Support existing applications and develop new ones.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers.
• Investigate and resolve product issues.
• Build, deploy, and maintain efficient code.
• Pay attention to detail and identify bottlenecks.
• Learn new technologies quickly.
• Work on both backend and UX parts of applications.

Requirements

• Proficient with .NET Core, C#, MVC framework, JSON, and APIs.
• Strong skills in JavaScript.
• Experience with RESTful APIs.
• Proficient understanding of Git.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Understanding of design principles for scalable applications.
• Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Experience developing for cloud-based systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React or Angular is a plus.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.
