Audience Relations Associate - Remote

Overview

The Audience Relations Associate will provide essential support for TED’s conferences and events, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees through customer service and event management.

In Short

• Provide world-class customer service to attendees via phone, email, and in-person.
• Manage attendee registrations and troubleshoot issues.
• Lead onsite name badge production and distribution.
• Assist with check-in for in-person events.
• Collaborate with Events team for NYC TED World Theater events.
• Create and manage budget for event supplies.
• Coordinate inventory and shipping of supplies.
• Work with other departments for event materials.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in commerce, administration, or similar.
• 3-5 years of customer support experience.
• Experience using CRMs for customer data management.
• Background in events or similar industries.
• Knowledge of Google applications and Microsoft Excel.
• Tech-savvy with a fast learning ability.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to commute to NYC office and travel internationally.
