AS/400 Administrator - Remote

Overview

The AS/400 Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining AS/400 systems, including Apache server configuration, application upgrades, security, and hardware support.

• Manage and configure Apache servers on AS/400 systems.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of applications on the AS/400 platform.
• Handle the installation and management of digital certificates.
• Plan and execute upgrades for various applications.
• Manage user IDs, group profiles, and authority lists for security.
• Resolve hardware issues and coordinate with vendors.
• Monitor and manage disk space for optimal performance.
• Administer global mirror replication for data redundancy.
• Oversee MQ Series for message queuing.
• Manage network configurations and troubleshoot issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience in AS/400 administration.
• Strong knowledge of security administration and hardware maintenance.
• Experience with MQ Series and network administration.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, CL programming, and SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
