Cyber Security Analyst - Remote

Overview

The client is a leading financial institution with national and international orientation, facing particularly high protection needs due to regulatory requirements.

In Short

• Handle IT security incidents and coordinate response measures.
• Document incidents for internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop preventive security measures and new use cases in SIEM.
• Manage security incidents at Level 3, including major incidents.
• Coordinate with external Managed SOC and make decisions regarding service providers.
• Participate in review calls with providers and departments.
• Enhance incident processes and establish a new RACI matrix.
• Conduct technical analysis based on SIEM during incident response.
• Contribute to projects for process optimization and security architecture.

Requirements

• Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification with a focus on IT/security.
• Several years of experience in security incident management and collaboration with security operations centers.
• Solid knowledge in technical analysis of security events (network, host, malware).
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
