Information Security Officer - Remote

Overview

The client is an international bank focusing on strategically relevant sectors such as infrastructure, agriculture, and SMEs. In the role of Information Security Officer, you will be responsible for the implementation and further development of information security management according to regulatory requirements.

In Short

• Implementation of regulatory requirements according to MaRisk and BAIT
• Conceptualization, implementation, monitoring, and further development of information security processes
• Conducting control actions, assessing security-related incidents, and deriving measures
• Advising departments on all matters of information security
• Creation, maintenance, and further development of policies
• Accompanying internal and external audits
• Planning and conducting target group-specific awareness and training measures

Requirements

• Degree in (business) informatics or comparable – relevant professional experience combined with training is more important
• At least 3 years of experience in information security, ideally in the financial sector
• Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g., BAIT, DORA, MaRisk, or ISO 27001)
• Certifications such as ISO 27001, CISM, or CISSP are advantageous
• Fluent German language skills
